Installation Instructions

Gantry v3.0 and above, is required for Panacea to work. Please ensure you are using the latest version of Gantry.

This guide covers the basics of installing a template.

Downloading the necessary files

To install the template, you will need one of the following files:

  • Panacea Template (Standalone) rt_panacea_j15.tgz - This is the standalone template file that you use to install into Joomla.
  • Panacea Template (Bundle) rt_panacea_j15-bundle.tar.gz - This is the bundle package, containing the template and Gantry library files, that you use to install into Joomla.
  • RokNavMenu rt_panacea_j15-extensions.zip or mod_roknavmenu.zip - This is required for the menu to work, either download from the extensions package in the Panacea download section or from the RokNavMenu download area itself.
Only use the Bundle package on a clean install, or on an install that does NOT have the Gantry library already installed - /components/com_gantry. Use the standalone package if the Gantry library is already present.

There are other files that you may wish to download that accompany the release, but are not required for the template to work.

  • Panacea Source PNG(s) rt_panacea_j15-sources.zip - This contains all the Adobe® Fireworks PNG source files for the template, and if applicable, the logo font.
  • Panacea Extensions rt_panacea_j15-extensions.zip - This package contains all the extensions that accompany the template release.
  • Panacea RocketLauncher rt_panacea_j15-rocketlauncher.zip - The RocketLauncher pack is a full Joomla install that contains all the demo content, including extensions and the template.
The latest extensions can be downloaded from the Extensions Download area located here

Step 1 - Using the Joomla installer

  • Login into the Joomla administrator (http://yoursite.com/administrator)
  • Go to Extensions → Install/Uninstall
  • Select the browse button and find rt_panacea_j15.tgz or rt_panacea_j15-bundle.tar.gz
  • Click Upload & Install

The template is now installed.

Step 2 - Making Panacea Default

  • Login into the Joomla administrator (http://yoursite.com/administrator)
  • Go to Extensions → Template Manager
  • Find rt_panacea_j15
  • Select the radio icon to its left
  • Click Default in the top right button menu

The template is now default and will appear as your site theme.

Deposits and Fees

Application Fee

Consists of your rental application. We preform credit, criminal, and sex offender background checks. Fee is per person unless married couple.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit is held until you move out. You will be refunded this amount less any damages to your unit.

Surety Fee

This is a added fee onto your security deposit required by the insurance company.

Pet Fee

We charge a pet fee for cats and dogs. Fee amount depends on the size of the animal. All pets must be vaccinated and kept on a leash while outside. No Pitbulls, Chows, Rottweilers, and Dobermans. The required pet fee can be broken up into small monthly payments.

Washer and Dryer Rental

We offer washer and dryer rentals. This rental charge is added onto your monthly rent fee. Contact us for more details.
